Consumer-friendly design aims to educate patients and help locate nearby ECPs
DALLAS – Essilor of America has launched a redesigned website for its Crizal® No-Glare lens portfolio, featuring an enhanced user experience for both independent Eyecare Professionals (ECPs) and consumers. The website will help drive brand awareness and demand for Crizal lenses, and new patients for the ECPs.
“We’ve seen time and time again that the more engaging and informative the website, the more responsive consumers are to not only scheduling visits with eyecare professionals but also selecting a particular line of lenses,” said Lauri Crawford, senior vice president of marketing, Essilor of America. “By streamlining the way consumers understand the advanced technology behind Crizal and its product attributes, we make it easier for ECPs to share this impressive technology and discuss a path to clear vision with patients.”
Over half of people wearing glasses in the United States still do not have anti-reflective coating on their lenses. The new website is a tremendous opportunity to educate consumers on the importance of anti-reflective lenses. The site provides consumer-friendly information about Crizal No-Glare lenses and showcases the unique lens benefits through interactive demonstrations which differentiate the product from ordinary lenses.
The engaging presentation aims to generate awareness among patients, and the highly-visible ECP locator will be seen on all pages encouraging even more patients to find and visit local independent practices that dispense Crizal lenses. Independent eyecare professionals may utilize the ECP-specific section of the website, with additional resources and messaging, as they discuss the benefits of Crizal No-Glare lenses with their patients.
Crizal No-Glare lenses provide the most comprehensive protection against the invisible and often irreversible dangers of UV radiation while also addressing the five primary barriers to clear vision – glare, scratches, smudges, dust and water. In addition, they facilitate safer, more comfortable nighttime driving by reducing glare from headlights, taillights and streetlights, and they reduce light-related headaches and eye fatigue by filtering reflections from computer screens and overhead lighting.
Additionally, Crizal® Prevencia™ No-Glare lenses are the latest in lens innovation and offer a break-through technology that allows beneficial blue light to reach eyes while protecting against harmful blue-violet light that can lead to future vision complications. Short-term, blue light has been known to cause uncomfortable eye strain and headaches.
The brand is internationally recognized and respected and will continue to be promoted directly to consumers through national advertising, driving more patients to the new site and their local ECP.
